LINTASAN BELAJAR UNTUK MEMBELAJARKAN MATERI MEMBUAT MODEL MATEMATIKA SISTEM PERSAMAAN LINEAR DUA VARIABEL (SPLDV) BAGI SISWA KELAS VIII

Understanding the concept of making mathematical models is very influential on students' understanding of the concept of mathematics in general. Students' ability in mathematical modeling is lacking. Therefore, this study aims to find out the learning path in teaching the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) with Realistic Mathematics Learning approach (PMR) learning trajectory by creating a mathematical model of the story of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System. To achieve this goal, this research uses research method of HLT design research model. This discussion focuses only on the stage of learning trajectory that is developed towards understanding the concept of mathematical models. This study involved 2 students from 13 students of class VIII selected based on different categories of students' answers. Learning outcomes show that the learning trajectory arranged gives students a chance to find mathematical models and students find themselves models with the support of Master.
