EFEKTIVITAS THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN AWAL

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on learning outcomes in terms of initial capability. In the preparation of this article the author uses literature study method is by using literature research (literature study). Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model is one of cooperative learning which can be used as an alternative of learning model that is fun and effective compared to direct learning model (lecture), because in Think Pair Share (TPS) students discuss with one another to finish math problems given by the teacher. In addition, early ability and learning outcomes also have a positive relationship. Initial ability is one of the foundations to receive new knowledge and which will affect the student learning outcomes. From the explanation, the authors are interested to analyze the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on learning outcomes in terms of initial capability. Based on the analysis of the discussion that has been written by the author, it can be concluded that the model of learning Think Pair Share (TPS) effective on learning outcomes in terms of initial ability.
