EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN EXAMPLE NON EXAMPLE TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR UNTUK SISWA KELAS VII DI MTS NEGERI 7 GUNUNGKIDUL

The purpose of this research was to: (1) to find out how effective Problem-Based Learning model with example non example, (2) to find out whether the use of Problem-Based Learning model with non example example is more effective than the use of Problem-based Learning model without example non example on learning achievement of opportunity material for grade VII students of MTs Negeri 7 Gunungkidul academic year 2016/2017. This research is a quasi-experimental research. Instrument used is a test of learning achievement. Data were analyzed using t-test. The results showed that: (1) student achievement using learning model Problem Based Learning with example non example with average 70,88 included in high category. (2) Learning using Problem-Based Learning with non example example is more effective compared to the learning model of Problem-based Learning without example non example in improving mathematics learning achievement.It is shown by the result of the t-test with thitung = 2,04> ttable= 1,999.
