UPAYA MENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN STAD SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 NANGGULAN KABUPATEN KULON PROGO

The purpose of this research are to describe the process of implementation of the Cooperative learning models type Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) to increase the activity and student chemistry learning outcomes in class VII A SMP Negeri 1 Nanggulan. Data obtained in this research include: student learning outcomes drawn from the test results as the end of cycle and the activity of students drawn from the observation sheets. The results showed an increase in every indicator of student activity proceeds. In the first cycle the average value of the motivation indicator of 65% increased in the second cycle into 72,62%%. While the average math student learning outcomes increased from 60,01 in the pre-cycle to 72,96 in the first cycle after the second cycle increased to 78,43.
