Abstract

The purpose of the study to find out the
description of Muslim dress ethics include
dressing in accordance with the provisions of
syar'I include: model or harmony, color,
texture, material, motif. This research
includes a quantitative descriptive research
type with an ex-post facto approach. Methods
of data collection using the method of
observation and documentation. Data
analysis techniques using descriptive
analysis. The results showed that the ethics of
Muslim dress in accordance with the
provisions of syar'i in a good category with a
relative frequency of 47.29%. The category is
supported by the observation of Islamic dress
ethics covering the way of dress in
accordance with the provisions of syar'i seen
from the aspect of the model, color, and style.
The model indicators fall into either category
with a relative frequency of 45.95%. The
color indicator is included in either category
with a relative frequency of 55.41%. The
pattern indicator is included in the excellent
category with a relative frequency of 56.76%.
Students are very concerned about how to
dress Muslims based on Islamic syar'i, so
look harmonious and appropriate. Students
can also choose the model, color, and style of
Muslim fashion exactly according to the
opportunity, age, body shape, and skin color
