This study aims to describe the character education contained in the story of a child titled Small So Comrade, Big So Opponent. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research, namely bibliography. Objects in this study is a child story titled Small So Comrade, Big So Opponent work of Tri Isyanti and Siti Andari. The research data was collected by reading and writing techniques. Data analysis in this research is done through pragmatic approach. The steps taken by identifying, reviewing, interpreting, and describing the parts of the child's story that can be utilized as the character of character education. The results of this research is in the story of a child titled Small So Comrade, Big So Opponent work of Tri Isyanti and Siti Andari contains content of character education in mitigating disaster. The children's storybook is set in a grade 3 elementary school student who has environmental and social concerns when a flood disaster strikes their area. There are five character education that is in the children's story that is environmental care; Social care; generous, helpful and cooperative; respect and courtesy; and curiosity.
